So, James went horseback riding...

The story made it seem like he got the hang of it quickly and then felt confident, but I smoothed things a lot there! This is how it really went! 😂
Poor James! He didn't lie when he wrote to Sadie that this was an exercise that will probably not be repeated.

For this year's ATOH Christmas Special, I had to pick these two. This was, after all, very much their year. :)
I do need to point out that this post is not part of the actual story, in the story we haven't quite reached Christmas yet. But I do hope you enjoyed this tiny Christmas extra.

A few notes:
The download contains two files: the display stack and the single book.
As you can see in the second picture, the cover of the display book is a bit blurry. I've tried many times with this one, but I can't get it any sharper. The single book is of better quality.
That line down the middle is deliberate and not a fault. Left is the way he was, right is the way he is.

So, I'm at the Honeycomb University coffeehouse to shoot a scene for my next chapter and was suddenly witness to this little affair! 😬
This is Daniel's girlfriend Georgia, clearly cheating on him with Alfie (created by @batsheba), one of the guys who came to campus a while ago to try and date Rachel. The little... @&*$! No one cheats on my Dan!
They were seen, too, by the character for whom I was there. Who is very fond of Dan and was not amused. Am I going to use this in my story? It's very likely! Not in the upcoming chapter though, that already has enough drama.

"Not when you have a key..." "What do you mean...?"
"I found out the lighthouse is available to book per night. So I booked it for you, for us. I already went up here yesterday to take all the stuff here, and tonight, we can stay here..."
"...I know surprises aren't really your thing, but I discussed it with Sadie too and she said you'd probably agree with this surprise. So I decided to take my chances... So... Do you like it?"

Rachel's Birthday (1/12)
Hello. Now that the Summer holidays have started here at the university, I finally have some time to sit down and write about my birthday. It was the BEST birthday ever.
It had always been my dream to visit the island off the coast of Honeycomb Valley, but it had been impossible to do so. Recently, the option to take a boat to the island became available, and as a birthday surprise, Malte told me to pack a bag because we would spend the day there...
"This was a great idea. I can't believe we have the entire island to ourselves!"
"And I so love to see the town from another perspective for once!"
"I'm glad you're happy, elskede, you deserve the best birthday."
"It is the best. It's everything I could have wished for. Especially because you're here."
"You're cute. Let's make the most of our day here."
"Yes, we will."
Throwback!
Even though I prefer to keep my story flow consistent and not interrupt it with other posts, I had to share this throwback picture. In today's post Kyra mentions The Hot Wings doing a school performance years ago and how she already loved them then. Well, we have picture proof of that!
Here we have The Hot Wings on their tiny school platform and 13-year-old Kyra (with darker hair) being excited. This was four years ago, story time. Also, look at Rachel in the front there. She truly has been a big supporter of the band from day 1.
Rachel's Birthday (Addendum)
Remember this part of the story? Rachel telling Malte about her old home on their second date? Well, he remembered how much it meant to her, because this was her birthday present:
It's a painting of her old house, including the "opening in the fence" to Sadie's garden. Malte asked Sadie for a picture and painted it as well as he could. Rachel absolutely loves this. ❤️
