update about researching intersex variations for atom anon! i was just lookin at @/thisis-intersexism's pinned post coz i knew he had sumn about writing good intersex characters and i was right hehe ^_^ i found this pdf {link} in this article {link} n its basically this big ol glossary for intersex variations and such!

ive been going through and noting down variations that seem like what im lookin for but obviously i cant just get all of my info from one source so do feel free to give advice and correct anything since i know you are intersex yourself!

i hope i cant represent em in a respectful way, since i dont usually make ocs n such as much n i am still learning about intersex variations n ways to make my language more inclusive, but ya!

i apologize if im makin you uncomfortable or anything by dumping like. responsiblity i guess? on ya btw i dont mean to treat your word as gospel lmao,,,

right now ive got mild ais, hyperestrogenism, de la chapelle syndrome, n klinefelter syndrome! i am obviously still lookin n once i finish looking through the pdf im gonna do some deeper research n actually decide on what itll have but yknow, ya gotta start somewhere 💔

my main backstory for em is that it grew up in a very christian n conservative household and general area so like. there was no access to any resources or support. i believe im going to have it be amab {using the literal definition of that term} and eventually when its puberty rolls around its like. actually realized theres something going on. n hes immediately treated horribly for this!!! yayy trauma!!!!!

I don't think I need to correct anything right now what you've said is honestly, pretty accurate as far as I know! my advice would probably be once you get a specific intersex condition you want him to have down, look at the symptoms of that condition and try to apply some of them (while doing this it's important to remember that not all people with the condition will have all of the symptoms, some may have more or less then others and such) so you can think about how it's experienced from his POV, to get a better understanding of his situation and to portray it as accurately as you can, that's if you really want to delve far into it, it's not mandatory to do so, of course!

I think the sparks were just some damage from whatever it did to itself to install a whisk. Otherwise it seems to be in fine shape.  That... may change after we have to shove it through a vent, though.
