I love how they gave the Atomic Boo King Boo's voice clips.

Especially since the only time Paper Mario met the actual King Boo was... well...

It is 3am and I just had a thought,

Can the different Big Boos be classified into different categories ?

Like, King Boo is not multiple Boos having merged that decided to wear a crown and become King of the Boos. When you stun him or knock him out he doesn’t burst into multiple Boos.

Which makes me wonder if each Merged Boo is named according to how many Boos have merged into one :

Big Boo (Luigi’s Mansion 2) is made up of 10 Boos while Boolossus is made of 15 Boos in Luigi’s Mansion 1 then 16 Boos in Luigi’s Mansion 3.

And while not from the same franchise, Atomic Boo from Paper Mario And The Thousand Year Door is made up of approximately 199-200 Boos.

So, my hypothesis is that each Merged Forms are named according to how many Boos have originally merged. So,

Big Boos: 10 Boos.

Boolossus: 15-16 Boos.

Atomic Boo: +100 Boos.

Also LM3 Boolossus is smaller than King Boo, which means that in order to float on equal ground with King Boo. All of his subjects have to Merge.

Atomic Boo is just a really lorge Boo, not really anything spectacular, but their bestiary photo is cut off by their sheer size and that’s funny.  I was looking forward to this because I figured I could make it fun.  Atomic Boos are made up of 200 regular Boos glommed together, which has some weird implications for how their consciousness works.  But I guess all fusions have those questions.
