Ignoring things at our peril

Just because we ignore something doesn’t mean it goes away or that it won’t happen. A human failing when we ignore the very things that keep us safe, that we need and should be dealing with.

We have global warming because of rising temperatures, we’re losing wildlife in the droves, we’re not taking note of what scientists are telling us, the weather patterns are changing, communities are flooding, governments are ignoring the signs and aren’t acting quick enough on what they’re being told.

Telling ourselves there’s nothing to see here, nothing to do and turning a blind eye, means we’re killing ourselves and the planet. Individually, there is more we can do to limit and prevent further damage to the environment.

After decades of deforestation, industrialisation and the burning of fossil fuels, the Earth’s climate is noticeably changing. Changing weather patterns, warming temperatures and climate change are having a significant impact on animals in their habitats, in many cases, putting species at the risk of extinction.

We are all part of the same ecosystem, it is complex. Any change to a plant or animal species will affect a multitude of other things. It affects us too because we also rely on the same environment for our food, our water and resources.

Us, understanding climate change and its impact on animals is not only important to help protect vulnerable species, but also helps prevent conflict between human populations and wildlife in areas where resources are now limited.

Time is running out, ignoring the urgency is ignoring things at our peril. All governments must lead by example, we must all act.

Never been to this place. I mean I went here sometime passing through the mall and also because the other side of the area going to northbound is where I normally do public commute. But yesterday afternoon, I went to Eton Centris but the problem is...I need to meet someone for a cake delivery literally at the latter end of it. And that was around 2:30 in the afternoon where the sun was really busy burning any living thing under its very territory. So since I'm really "New" to the existence of the place after I made a delivery I made an attempt to outsmart the sun. With this idea, I was able to explore things that was already erected in the place like some coffee shops, convenience store, salon, fitness center, and a lot more. Plus some structures that are meant to impress people and invite them to get along with each other and of course spend money. Feeling like a mushroom and just recently found out about all of these.
