sidenote about ATRch80/81 that’ll probably make you sad, a tiny bit.

in ch80 kano absolutely takes the time to go “ohhhh there are cookies” because he is Local Diehard Sweettooth. i mean more important things are going on so he didn’t get a cookie in that chapter but he fucking wanted one dudes

sora takes control of their shared body back in ch81, and what does he do? doesn’t get a cookie because of his bullshit new eating habits. by 81 the two of them are also Not Really Talking To Each Other meaning that sora doesn’t know kano wanted a cookie and basically i’m just sad because kano didn’t get a cookie and sora absolutely would have gotten a cookie for him if he’d known but he didn’t know and now i’m upset give this boy a cookie

other thing that hecks me up: kano being most comfortable with kairi even though kairi still hates him a little bit? yeah

a lot of my notes for ATRch80 are like, already in the tag, but I’m gonna gush a little bit more about why I love it so much---I mean, it’s kind of obvious why I love it so much, but,

I LOVE....... KANO. AND I HAVEN’T WRITTEN FROM HIS POV IN SOOOOOOOO LONG AND IT WAS REALLY NICE AND REFRESHIN TO BE ABLE TO DO IT AGIAN. I MISSED HIM AND I LOVE HIM. I NEED TO FIND MORE EXCUSES TO WRITE FOR HIM TBH.......

I LOVE KANO VERY PISSED OFF TO BE IN CONTROL OF SORA’S BODY IN THIS SITUATION

I LOVE KANO BEING VERY VERY VERY WORRIED ABOUT SORA AND.... .listen my descriptions about him throwing himself against sora’s half the mindspace and keep hitting static were Good Work imo, i’m so fond of them

I MEAN THAT’S KIND OF IT???? i just think this is a very good chapter becuase Kano Is Good And I Love Him. plus it was suuuuuuuuper fun to do. I love It

i’m struggling with “i’m not even sure thsi scene should be in kairi’s pov??? it’s barely about her” but a) it wouldn’t have been any better from another pov and might as well pick kairi, she needs love always b) TEHCNICALLY I AM GETTING SOME DEVELOPMENT RE: HER OPINIONS ON A CERTAIN SOMEONE AND WE SURE AS HELL WOULD HAVE MISSED THAT IF I HADN’T BEEN IN HER POV

i was pulling “petty, bitter” kairi from ftpverse when i started writing her for that one fic about rain (where she spends a paragraph mad at aqua just because aqua has cool water magic even though she knows it’s dumb to be mad about) but um???? it occurs to me, as i’m writing for her now, i don’t think she’s been quite this petty in ftpverse before??? lmfao
