I think there’s a lot more to me and Han’s rivalry during the war than I previously remembered…Others tell of trials and torture before being cast down, but I was thrown out alone by Han, when it was just the two of us. I kind of think he had his own little mini agenda; staying loyal to Michael, but under the radar saving me from an even worse fate? Maybe that’s why he threw me out himself–he knew I’d be condemned during the trials, and decided to save me from the torture and disgrace it would bring me by just casting me out beforehand. I think he may have saved me in the middle of torture or something, or sent some angels to save me on his behalf. In the brief memory I have of Atriel, I’m laying in the floor in what I think is the Hall of Principalities, and I can tell that I’m very weak and/or injured. Several yards away, there’s a small cluster of angels–I think they are talking softly amongst themselves. Atriel is the only one who is clear in my mind, I can’t really picture the rest and I’m not sure if Han was there or not.
Maybe Han didn’t hate me as much as I thought–or as much as he wanted everyone to think.
I spend so much time worrying about the basics that...I don't really know how to shade very well. And I have no idea where to go or what to ask first.
So, guess I'll chill on it. Maybe I'll figure something out. I like the lines, though.
Look! I did a thing! :D
Finally, some fresh art from me to y'all. #feelsgoodman
Anyway, it's Celeste and Atriel, two of my sweet babies from my upcoming novel: Descendant: Part One.
Speaking of: I'm excited to announce that the first book of the series is FINALLY being edited! We're pouring over content and world building, making sure everything lines up for what comes after later in the series, but I'm very pleased with how well it's going and it really does feel good.
I'm going try and get some art done during breaks from writing.
Feel free to follow along, especially if you're a cosmic horror fan, I'll be hiring beta and sensitivity readers some time next year once we're in a good place and there's even talk of a Kickstarter with some really cool stuff planned.
Twenty years.

And it's finally getting done. Let's hope we can keep up the momentum.
See? I'm not terrible.
