I've been in that group, LOL. "Oh shit, the lieutenant is coming, he looks pissed, AND he has a roster. QUICK, GO INVENTORY THE QUADCON."

In case you are curious, Darth Arho replaced Darth Vengean/Baras. I don’t know much about him besides that he didn’t live very long. The Darth Arkous that you meet in SoR prelude is Darth Arho’s successor. And we know how that turned out. ;) As for why the Warrior isn’t offered the seat on the Dark Council, that would go against her position as the Emperor’s Wrath. As the Wrath she is outside and in some ways above the Dark Council. She answers only to the Emperor.
Oh wow. Well, Arho at least wasn’t a traitor - Google tells me that he’s the Imperial NPC Republic players can kill at the end of their Illum story. Arkous, though... geeze. Marr needs to get better at picking people. On the other hand maybe leaving Vengean where he was would have been best overall. So... yeah, Mara’s not going to feel any better about that, lol.
Post SoR I’m so used to thinking of the Emperor as Imperial Enemy #1 I forgot that offering the Wrath a seat on the Council would have been the worst sort of treason. Sometimes my memory is awful.

I definitely understand that feeling. Been working on my SW/Quinn fic and there is just so little to work on. It’s also hard to find official stuff from in game unless you sign in and check a character that has found that codex info. I like to stay as close to canon as possible, but there are many aggravating gaps. This is especially true for my Chiss agents.
Honestly, that's part of why I finally just threw my hands up and went "you know what, fuck it, I'm doing it myself." They simply didn't give me enough to work with to be able to have the sort of fleshed out universe I want, so I decided I'll see what they have as a start, then go from there because I just cannot.
Like, for example, this idea that literally everyone in the Empire runs around in uniforms. I ... doubt it? "Diplomatic Corps are recognized by their red uniforms," okay on ships and maybe at formal events where military dress would be required, but most of the time they're going to be in regular attire, not dress uniforms, so like .. have the red thing be a red patch or a red armband or something equally identifying. The game has every imperial, even the ones in war zones, in the equivalent of dress uniforms (and as a former Marine that just drives me batty, no one's going to war in alphas, guys). Thanks for these neat *bits* of Dromund Kaas, now I'm going to make it interesting.
It's time consuming and exhausting, but I gotta do what I gotta do. xD

I love it! What program is that? I've been using Dramatica Pro demo (because I'm cheap). That looks really interesting.
It’s Scrivener! Daily Dot had a sale where you get it for $20 instead of $40 (though honestly, I’m going to get way more than $40 use out of it given how much stuff I have to organize), so I was like “fuck it I’m getting it.”
I can storyboard my chapters, have these index cards for each section, character info sheets, place information sheets, import literally anything i need in the “research” section (so my eighty tons of worldbuilding, all the guest characters, conlang, etc). You can pull different sections at a time to compare. You can take snapshots of something and save it, then if you don’t like your changes, revert back. There is SO MUCH you can do with this program omg.
Right now I’ve got the main story pulled from AO3 on the bottom, and I’m retyping it into each section and chapter, so I can make sure everything flows cohesively and I have all the character/background stuff I need in there, shifting the final copy from fic (assuming familiarity with this particular setting, the characters, etc) to treating it like a full-blown Star Wars novel where i need scene setting and background.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Rhigar might be a good choice. Honestly just getting most of my info from Wookieepedia so... Though thing thing about not setting foot on Csilla is from the in game codex.
Rhigar it is! :D I’m going to edit the post now.

I love this! This is great! One note. Not sure if this is just part of your headcanon or you didn't know, but from what I understand, part of the treaty with the Chiss included an agreement that no one from the Empire would ever set foot on Csilla. (Unless specifically invited I imagine). I assume this would include an ambassador. In which case, it might make.more sense to have the ambassador to the Chiss set up on one of their other planets.
Nope, I didn’t know that! I also know fuck-all about Chiss space, so honestly, if you have a suggestion for a different planet, I’ll take it. :D

Yeah, I understand that. My husband is in the military so some of the ridiculousness with the Imperial military drives me nuts. Clothes and rank are such a mess. I am so grateful for the work you an others have done to construct a more workable and alive system.
I just ... the rank thing. omg the rank thing. xD Guys, it's COPY/PASTE how did you mess it up that badly. I thought I was going to have a coronary, LOL.
