Attack at Dawn

Mark glanced at the clock on the wall. It would be the last time he sat in his office before the mission. 3PM sharp. He opened the small laptop on the desk and connected to the voice chat room where all the Sonic fans had gathered. As soon as his connection was made, the voices of all the fellow fans started to drown out. Everyone understood silence had to be made in order to hear their leader. Mark clasped his hands and with a clear of the throat, he began:

"My fellow Sonic fans! Today will be the last day that we will have to cower before the dreaded Mario fans."

Some began murmuring, though their voices were cut off due to their microphones not picking up on their whispers.

"As we all know, the attack is planned for tomorrow 6AM EST. Please adjust your sleeping schedule so we all begin the mission at the same time."

The water-cooled CEO of Facebook gathered the nearby plans he had printed on paper and quickly went over the details of the mission, targets, do's and don'ts, and other such intricacies.

As everyone listened attentively, suddenly, a cheerful voice spoke up:

"Mr. Zuckerberg! Won't they use the argument that Sonic was created due to Mario as a powerful attack against our legion?"

Many gasped loudly. Mark demanded silence.

"Quiet! I said quiet! Everyone listen carefully: Mario was also technically a spin-off of Donkey Kong and became a much more popular character with his own franchise! Don't be afraid to claim that just because Mario was the cause of Sonic, it doesn't mean it's any better."

Everyone cheered, some even clapped. The infinite wisdom of Mark Zuckerberg was once again a triumph over the impending superiority of the Mario franchise. Of course, he would have all the knowledge on how to defeat the Mario fans due to all the spying he does on the entire world.

Just as the meeting was drawing to an end, Mark felt he should encourage his soon-to-be battle companions once more.

"Remember everybody, Sonic would not give up defeating his red-clad enemy, and as such neither should we! We know we can be stronger, and tomorrow, we will prove we are. My dear Sonic gamers...

...we attack at dawn."

ok so me and my friend @digika2000 were texting each other and being the sonic fans we are, we tend to have pretty weird convos. so this time she came up with the idea that mark zuckerberg spies on ppl with facebook and messenger to find other sonic fans and end the mario fandom. me, being the kinda memer that likes to spend waaaay too much time on useless jokes, i wrote up a small fic of exactly that, just for the meme.

please i wasted like 20 minutes on this pointless garbage please laugh at it,,,,

(no hate towards mario fans. its literaly just a joek)
