My first attempt with water colors I got for christmas
Hey wonderlanders!
As my more long-term readers may be aware, I often like to try new creative outlets (with varying degrees of success!). I decided that I would try my hand at drawing this time. I’ve never had huge amounts of what you’d call classic artistic talent, so when it comes to drawing, I would never start with something like photo realistic portraits. I thought that I may be able to manage something like kawaii stuff and chibis though, so I asked for simple instructional art books for Christmas for these items. Since Christmas I have been making some attempts at drawing! I was also bought some Chameleon pens, which mean you can colour grade without changing pens (they’re so cool). The fruits of my efforts can be seen as my blog icon at the moment (its supposed to be a chibi me in a penguin onesie!) and here’s a few more.
They’re not great, but Rome wasn’t built in a day! Remember that I am brand new to this. I’ll give some updates as and when (or if!) I continue to make some progress. Enjoy and stay wonderful 😉
