As soon as the weather had calmed down enough Remy headed back to the shop. She had surprisingly had quite the fun time being stuck in the deli and as a result hadn’t even checked her phone. Remy entered the shop by the back and noticed the red light flashing on the answering machine. She pressed the button and started listening to the messages and she began to warm herself, lighting a fire with her magic. The first message was from Atticus, as was the second and by the fifth Remy just pressed stop. She got out her phone and noticed missed calls and text messages from Atticus as well. Remy rolled her eyes and smiled at his over protectiveness but at the same time she felt a little guilty. She should have checked in with him.
Putting her shoes and coat back on Remy left the shop once more, locking the door with a flick of her hand as she began walking to Atticus’. It wasn’t normally a long walk but the snow meant it took longer than usual. Eventually she arrived at his doorstep and knocked on his door. She began unwrapping her scarf from around her neck as she waited for him to open. Remy knew he would be home because he wouldn’t take Claudia out this weather.
