One thing about Shinwoo, if he had an off day, he slept for half of it. Today was no different. Between work and getting information to The Night Bloods, Sin was exhausted. He’d cuddle on the couch with Hyerim as they watched some kid’s show. They’d both dosed off at some point. His eyes blinked open as he shifted, careful not to wake his daughter. Stretching, he carefully moved off of the couch and made sure that Hyerim was laying comfortably on the couch. A quick kiss was pressed to her forehead before he headed to the bathroom.
Shinwoo had planned to take Hyerim and Sena out to dinner and he knew Sena would have his head if he didn’t look presentable. Everything had been so much lately and all he wanted was one night where they could just relax as a family. He needed that. He needed that normality of a family dinner. He was so tired of watching over their shoulders, making sure that they weren’t in danger. It was beginning to take a toll on the man. He was sleeping less and each smile was becoming more forced as the days passed. He was afraid for his family would never be the same.
The only positive was that he did still have his family. He had Hyerim and he had Sena beside him. It’d been months since he and Sena had gotten back together and it felt like the beginning all over again. Both were madly in love and couldn’t keep their hands off of each other. “Baby, I’m gonna shower before we head out to dinner. Hyerim is still asleep but you may want to wake her up soon. Or she’s gonna be up all night.” He called to his fiancée before closing the bathroom door.
