Calling a Life Line
when: sometime in winter of 2017 (i think) where: BEYEOGDOL APARTMENTS, Apt: 218 with: @shinwoovc
Shinwoo was stretched across his bed, Hyerim curled up beside him. He watched as he tiny chest rose and fell. He was always checking her breathing, making sure she was okay. It was still crazy to him that he was a dad. That the little girl beside him was his. She was still so tiny and he was always fraud that he was going to mess this up. His eyes danced over to the woman that had his heart. He couldn’t imagine a life without either one of them. Hyerim stirred in her sleep and he quickly rubbed her back until she fell back into a deep sleep.
Just as he was dozing off, he felt his phone vibrating in his pocket. He struggled to remove the phone from his pants, accidentally tossing in onto the floor. Groaning, he climbed off of the bed and answered the call. “Blue, hey, relax. Where are you?” He asked, already looking for his keys. “Baby, I’ll be back soon.” Leaning down, he pressed a kiss to her lips and exited the room.
Grabbing his keys off of the table, he slid his feet into his shoes and locked the door. Blue was one of the people that he always felt very protective over. He’d been through a lot and he knew they weren’t supposed to get close to people who were brought in or anything like that but he grew close to Blue. “Are you home? I can get there in like fifteen minutes. Just take deep breaths and try to calm down, okay?”

By the time Shinwoo finally answered his call, Blue had made his way to the corner of the room, clutching his phone for dear life. His shoes and the knees of his pants coated with the coagulating substance, matching the caked blood that had smeared into the lines of his hands.
His entire body felt as if it were vibrating, not sure if it was adrenaline or fear, maybe both, that had taken over every atom in his nervous system. There were things about the situation he’d hardly understood, not even being able to wrap his mind around how…without lifting a finger how.
He’d always envisioned it, snapping finally, a frenzied rage that would leave what was left of his boyfriend in the same state, always assuming it’d be by his bare hands, which he assumed was why it had never actually happened. Even when he fantasized about it, fearing it was his only way out of the situation, but having bared his own theoretical fangs without so much of a warning, had him completely shutting down.
“I’m-I’m at his apartment.” He said softly, hoping that the officer would catch his drift, there was not much he could do without him but he knew well not to give his location outright over the phone, or through text for that matter.
Sin held his phone between his ear and shoulder and he locked the door behind him. “Okay, just stay calm. I’m on my way. I’ll be there in about ten minutes. Just sit down wherever you are and don’t touch anything. I’ll stay on the line, okay?” He made it to his car and He put his phone on speaker before he sped out of his parking spot, glad that the streets were fairly empty at this time. When it came to Blue, he felt the need to protect him. He had learned a lot about the man in the time that they’d known each other and he knew Blue wasn’t the type to easily ask for help.
That was why he knew that this was serious. His voiced was always so melodic to Sin’s ears but tonight the melodious timber was a clash of notes that seemed to haunt him. “Blue, I need you to take deep and steady breaths. I want you to calm down and just breathe.” He pulled into the street that he knew belonged to Blue’s boyfriend. He parked on the street and turned off the car. “I’m here. I’m coming up to the apartment, now.” He stood outside the door, bracing himself for whatever scene was behind it. “Blue, it’s me.” He called out as he opened the door.
He entered the apartment and stepped deeper inside. The smell of blood hit him before he saw it. The scene before him could be likened to a Wes Craven movie. He looked down at what was left of the man and tried to stay composed. He’d never seen a body so mangled. “Blue, what happened? Are you hurt?”
