New ATWT Nuke thread! So much has happened, so here’s the second recap (refer to my other post tagged under atwt to get the first recap)
- Luke and Noah were broken up for a short period and were jealous whenever the other one had male attention
- They got back together, and the issue of them not having the space or alone time to have sex returns (this is never resolved even though they brought it up in multiple different plot lines)
- Noah joins the military, fulfilling homophobic military dad’s wishes
- Noah decides not to go through with enlisting since it’s Don’t Ask Don’t Tell
- Noah moved back in with Luke’s family. They have the same issues as my last recap.
- Dry spell is over. They’re kissing more than usual, and it’s hot. But still no sex. (They’re the only long-term couple on this show that isn’t implied to have a sexual relationship)
- Luke decides to start a charity with the money left by his bio dad
- Luke finds this dude to help run his charity, and he starts rizzing Luke’s grandmother
- Luke decides to run against his high school homophobic crush for class president when funding for a gay film festival is jeopardized
- Luke’s political rival’s friend kidnap a woman and assault her
- Casey is Luke’s campaign manager and gets suspended when he defends the assaulted woman
- Casey and the woman work at the hospital together and might have a thing going on
- Luke decides to commit election fraud to win. He gets expelled. Noah breaks up with him again. Luke starts drinking again.
- Meanwhile Luke’s grandmother’s breast cancer returns, and she married the charity guy (Luke’s now step grandfather)
- Step grandfather kisses Luke and gaslights him about it
- Luke and Noah get back together for the holidays
- Maddie (Casey and Noah’s ex) returns and threatens multiple relationships (even though it’s stupid)
neurodivergent people really do get attached to the most random things and hyperfixate on them like their life depends on it, because wdym my latest obsession is this gay couple from this soap opera that ended 16 years ago and the only way I can consume official content of them is youtube clips of them that have like 5 pixels at the max
Headcanon: Luke followed Noah to LA, they’ve been happy together ever since, and when gay marriage was legalized, they got married and Noah finally became a Snyder, letting go of his fathers name once and for all.
(Bonus: Luke was the one who proposed, and Noah was the one who brought up the last name subject)
yay yippee i drew gay people
Growing up watching US daytime soap operas has desensitized me from soap drama. Cause imagine watching Aaron and Robert finally getting together properly and confessing their love to each other before Robert leaves for a quick trip. Except his car stalls on train tracks and he can’t get his seatbelt off so the train hits his car, he becomes brain dead after telling Aaron one last time he loves him, and Paddy gets Robert’s heart.
So…trust me, it could be worse. Lol.
