alright so ive decided the first three chapters of as the years pass by are getting rewritten!!

updates with each will be slow, but ill try to somehow release them all at once to not confuse things since there are some things i need to add, plus i realized how i wasnt actually focusing on jenna and ethan properly so yeah a rewrite here we come lmao

Hellooo!

I started reading as the years pass by, and it's awesome!!! I love Jenna and Ethan so so much; they're literally so cute! And Jenna's memories... ouch. I reached chapter 3, and I'll be commenting on Ao3 soon (which I sadly couldn't do while reading because I didn't have internet at the time). Annnd I have a question! From what I understood from the fic itself, Nya and Jay didn't pass on their powers to Jenna and Ethan, right? How/why did that happen? Oh, and will they be getting them at any point in this fic?

but this may be subject to change once pt2 is out, since i actually have been thinking of making jenna get jay's powers, but i gotta see what jay's up to first and if his powers are a must in pt2

i once made an alt version of the au with my friend where jenna's powers appear in episode 10 way before i posted the fic! so theres a chance that i might make jenna get her powers at some point, but its still not fully planned and like i said above i gotta see pt2 first before i do anything

oh and about that "elemental masters can choose to pass down their elemental power" part, nya actually could pass down her powers to ethan! but he's only 6, and plus i wasnt planning for him to get his powers so early anyway

and that goes for jay too, esp with jenna already of-age. but my guy's amnesiac and he doesnt even know he has kids, so its gonna be something for me to properly plan in the future

(its got some great angst potential tho, and im a sucker for angst lmao)
