If I'm Honest | Cameron & River
The music in his car cut off as he checked his phone, a notification from Matty bringing a mischievous smile to his lips. The guilt didn’t last long, his car parked near River and Matty’s dorm. He liked River, but he also liked Matty. What was he to do? Keep River as far away from Aiden as possible, until he made his decision. Matty didn’t seem to mind the situation. Besides, he and River weren’t exclusive anyways. Although, Matty had called him a contradicting fuck last week. He shrugged and made his way through their hall, waving to familiar faces along the way. A few knocks later, he was greeted by River’s always welcoming face. The smile he wore had an effect on the temperature of his body, the way Matty’s accent did. He chewed on his lip, attempting to put the comparisons at bay. He needed to enjoy each of them as their own entity. They were individuals after all. “Hey there,” Cameron smiled before leaning in for a kiss. “Ready to hit the road?” Cameron opened the khaki colored door of his jeep for River, the silence accompanying them unusual. Did he know? He climbed into his own seat and brought the car to life. “Why don’t you DJ today? We’ve got a little bit of a ride.” He gazed over, taking in the small details of his lover’s face. “Are you hungry?” There was a beach he used to follow Aiden to when he was sick, and it would be the perfect place for a picnic on the beach. It was quiet and private. He wasn’t even sure how Aiden had found it, but it would benefit him in keeping River’s interest.
