sans sees his brother slain and, informed by the history of betrayal routes decides to overthrow the government and have none in it's stay. he's already a dead man why not rally the underground's building resentment towards asgore. sans incites political violence and kills people based on their allegiances.

tl;dr sans is a bad person doing bad things to build the infrastructure for a better tomorrow

So I’m trying to swap the themes of freedom that the og deltarune secret bosses had with themes of not forgetting

Like actlin

Who wants to live in the best moments of his life.

Actlin has only felt control when he was putting on a play until the day the darkners left

And his teacher had to shut down, he now just waits outside in the ticket booth until one day he could find a way back in.

Until one day Suzan n gang met him and found the keys to the old theater, he puts on a small show for his new friends but it doesn’t feel right, he doesn’t feel the control he once had.
