I think Kurogane introduce Fye to DnD, It is canon that Kurogane is nerd and fan of mangas

he is definitely a giant nerd. in my dnd au, kurogane and fai actually play dnd on their own already! (this is random backstory stuff but) the two of them are roommates in uni and meet yuuko through a fantasy/sci-fi club and end up becoming friends. eventually yuuko becomes the DM for a campaign that kurogane, fai, syaoran, and sakura play (mokona is yuuko’s cat); it follows the trc plot, just as a dnd campaign so it’s funny instead of horribly tragic

kurogane played dnd since he was younger, w kendappa and souma and tomoyo. he learned about it from his parents since they had a campaign they’d play w their friends (kuro’s mom is the DM! also it’s how his parents met). he plays in yuuko’s tsubasa campaign bc she and fai are v annoying convincing, and also tomoyo asked him to play w her high school friends bc she thinks they’d get along and you need more friends kurogane

fai is fairly new to dnd bc he mostly played other tabletop games, but he decides to give it a try bc dnd magic is fun.  he just has horrible luck w groups and always ended up quitting games bc everybody is an asshole.  he decides to give yuuko’s tsubasa campaign a go bc he likes yuuko and the hours-long weekly opportunity to annoy kurogane.

Thanks, I’m glad you like the outfits! I made Kurogane a half-orc for the racial traits bc they mesh well w fighter class, but the other half is tiefling (hence horns and tail) so my son can be the homebrewed edgelord of his dreams.

also me: ofc kurogane would be a tiefling look at that edgelord dweeb he’d name himself something like RETRIBUTION and swing around a greatsword and have a diceset specifically colour coded for his character and make up ten pages of backstory about how he swore an oath of revenge for the massacre of his family and village
