Talk us through the creation of Aubella and what it’s all about:
Aubella is an online Jewellery store dedicated to minimal geometric lines. Aubella is not manufactured or produced by a machine, instead each piece is individually crafted to be custom-made to your fit with the assistance of traditional methods of a skilled hand-craftsman. I strive for designs that are simple yet elegant. Therefore, Aubella provides jewellery that is authentic and timeless.
What was the inspiration behind this brand?
I remember one day, I was talking to a woman who wore a lot of rings and every night before she went to bed, she would take her rings off because it felt uncomfortable. Upon hearing this, I wanted my Jewellery to be something that could be worn and never have to be taken off. This begun my endeavour to create something that was comfortable. As I am a big supporter of hand-crafters, I was inspired to use natural materials that incorporated my admiration for minimalism and geometric designs to create Aubella.
Who is the ideal Aubella girl?
Honestly, anyone! I think the greatest thing about people is that we have so many different characteristics that we cannot define into one. The important thing is that you value the art, time and delicacy that comes with craftsmanship and the great quality of using natural materials.
What is the Aubella’s future? any plans? dreams?
I am in absolute awe of the incredible photographers, artists and craft-makers I come across who are endlessly inspiring. I definitely want to collaborate with many more! I am constantly learning and developing as a person, so to be able to gain an insight into their techniques and skill is my plan to help Aubella improve and grow.
Do you have any tips and tricks for new business entrepreneurs?
It’s definitely important to be passionate and dedicated in what you want to pursue. I’m still learning as a business owner but the one thing I absolutely value is authenticity. Across social media, there are many people who promote products and never end up speaking to the company again. I feel that it’s important to build connections with people you work with, to be honest, authentic and raw throughout. Also, go and reach out to people who inspire you! Or people who you would like to work with. Never stop learning!
