SONGS THAT REMIND ME OF YOU (Poem by Shai)
It took me a long time to sum up my emotions and write this poem. It’s something that has been bugging my mind and I think that it’s about time to find closure, once and for all!

REDEFINING NORMAL// FOR MADDIE (written by Tessa) One of the biggest problems of this generation is the fact that we too commonly romanticize depression and sadness. We tell ourselves that depression is normal, that sadness is the base line and that self-acceptance is synonymous to being self-absorbed.
SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN (playlist by Nikki)

hey is going be my birthday soon and I was wondering if you could give me some ideas on what I should do to celebrate with friends! I am a uni student so I can't spend much 😌 thx a lot xxx
Go off campus and have a night out with friends! Whether it be a museum, a park, just spend quality time with people you really care about. You could go to a familiar restaurant although it maybe pricy to pay so do small things e.g. ordering pizza and watch a movie or a theme park? Be creative! x

YOU’LL FOREVER BE THE ONE WHO LOVED THE SKY// (written & photographed by contributor Ash)
The way you smile while seeing pictures being painted captured me. People laugh at different things, you always had a special connection with the sky. I’d often ask you why it’s so special. I never really understood your infatuation with it. Even though we both were together you saw something I couldn’t. Days could go by and sunset would come and I couldn’t tell the difference. Yet there you sat with your camera laughing quietly to yourself. I remember you trying to describe what you saw. No matter how hard you tried I could see half of what you saw. It always looked blue during the day and pitch black at night. I couldn’t see the colours in between. Some people have a way with words you had your way with the sky...
WITHIN AND WITHOUT (Written by Glory)
“I was within and without, simultaneously enchanted and repelled by the inexhaustible variety of life” F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
Reading this line from my favourite novel almost feels like I’m reading my own personal diary, in more elaborate vocabulary. I simply would have put it as “I’m alone even when I’m not alone” but that quote encapsulates everything I feel: constantly within and without. Present but not present. My flesh in one place but my mind in another. Within and without.

THE TERRIFYING FEELING OF INCOMPETENCE. (written by Nikki)
For the past 6 years of my life, nothing has been as important to me as school. It isn’t because school is a passion of mine, it’s simply because it has been enforced on me by my teachers and colleges.
It’s always been important for me to come home everyday and study. Whether it be maths, english, science... I studied as much as I could and I was able to attain good grades up until Grade 7. For some reason, my life came to a halt. I stopped attaining good grades, in fact, I was flunking some of my classes and I just couldn’t understand why. I was deemed incompetent amongst the students and it tore me apart. Within the second that I came to the realization that I would never be ‘good enough’ to achieve my goals in life, my self-esteem and self-confidence vanished.
Heyy, first of all I love your blog 💗 I have a problem that I hope you could help me with. I don't have any hobbies, so I sit a lot at home on my phone. I was wondering if you maybe had some recommendations for hobbies/activities?Thanks in advance
Hey there! Well this all comes down to personal preferences… That being said, here are a few that you could give a go:
Cooking (something you’ve never tried to cook before)
Embroider or knitting
Pottery (attend classes)
Volunteer at animal shelters or at a charity
Yoga
Reading
Learn to dance
Learn how to play a musical instrument
Learn a new language
Origami!
Photography - make your own short film?
Calligraphy (it’s pretty cool)
Join a sports team
Running/jogging or go for hiking
Camping
That’s a few that i had in mind… Although if you still need some help for more ideas, let us know! x

Hey I have recently stop talking to some of my longtime close friends because they were making me feel negative about myself and I felt like I was growing apart from them. But now I feel really alone and that I have no one to talk to. Do you have any suggestions on how to meet new people and make new, more positive relationships?
I think by joining activities like book reading club, dance class, pottery lessons and so on, you can meet new people. You’re able to meet people with similar interests as you and it makes it easier to approach them since you have common interests. You can even volunteer at charities or animal shelters and meet new people there!
It really does depend on the area you live, if you find an activity you want to partake in, then do it. x

I really love this magazine/blog! Is there anyway that I could become a writer for it? Maybe by submitting some things I've written or talking with someone on your end?
Hey there! :) At the moment we’re not taking any new team members, however contributors and submissions are always welcome and appreciated and we fully credit and link you for your work :) Feel free to message us if you want further information on how this works :)
Lots of love, Lotta xx
