I didn't think I had anything to put here. My calm down songs are entirely mood based in the moment, but between Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin songs and "teenage angst" (can you tell I used to make amvs? lol)

I wanna say no, I'll rewatch or re-read anything when in the mood to. Buuuut, I'll say the House of Night series by P.C Cast. It's very questionable in some spaces now as a Mary Sue-esque, maybe problomatic take on teen vamps (I honestly haven't kept up...) Plus, I didn't get past the...4th book, but I was reading it with a very close friend when we were in high school and our friendship went to absolute shit, so never looking at that again. :|

I think music can be more evocative for a myriad of reasons, but sometimes it really is the catharsis of someone else feeling what you feel and how raw it comes out in their voice or composition.
