                   ulexite: how empathetic/sympathetic/compassionate my muse is

OKAY HERE WE GOOO!!! Basically Prompto is the most empathetic, sympathetic AND compassionate muse I’ve ever had. Like I feel as though he’s very very VERY understanding and perceptive of everyone’s feelings, always providing the benefit of the doubt and attempt to “walk a mile in their shoes” before assuming any judgement. Now Prompto’s been through a lot, so he knows he doesn’t want anyone to feel the specific ways that he has felt in the past, that he still feels now, etc., even if their feelings have no relation to his whatsoever. In these cases, Prompto still wishes to provide a hand to a hold, a shoulder to lean on, and will sacrifice himself time and time again for his friend’s happiness and reassurance. Despite being so understanding of others’ feelings and able to see some of what goes through their emotions, he won’t always make it known that he does know. He fears intruding on others’ privacy and stepping where he’s not welcome. Because of this, he may hang around or ask a casual question pertaining to their well-being, offering himself if they DO wish to speak, though if not, he’d leave them to their own, not wishing to push any buttons that don’t want to be pushed. and anyway prompto will give his all for anyone he cares about and try his hardest to understand their hardships and why they would feel the way they do, he’s very sympathetic as well as empathetic, but keeps to himself enough to not pry into another’s personal matters. 

because all of this though, it’s often that he’ll take other’s feelings into his own hands and in turn harbor hard feelings alongside them, and while this may help another to feel like they’re not going it entirely alone (which is prompto’s ultimate goal, he doesnt anyone to feel as alone in the world as he has) it also brings him into the pain, shouldering their burdens upon himself.
