there was literally two minutes left in that episode and ross is like let's get married omfg. that scene with the cornflowers was so heartbreaking - ALSO I love how they they played the sexual tension; there wasn't much kissing but the heavy breathing on the neck and whispering made it so much more intense jsdlf;kgjl

i love how hes just came back from a shitty day and when he saw her in that fair, green dress that matched her eyes and made her hair shine brighter he literally just took all his bottled up sexual tension over the last two years and current anger out on her. 

and you can see his defense mechanism kicking in when he first saw her. he wanted to rant out about his servant getting imprisoned, how he felt hand cuffed about the situation with a low, calmer tone and his needed dose of alcohol cause thats what he needs to keep himself composed and steady; her voice and alcohol in his bloodstream. but nooooo he saw her and the conglomeration of sexual tension, sadness, his vulnerability against justice’s suppression, classist people he’s surrounded with, her green dress and the mortified gaze she held in her eyes set him off literally. 

and you know whats so amazing about the quick build up these two had was that both of them were equally attracted to each other but never confronted/tackled it or admit it to themselves. they brushed it off and kept reminding themselves of their professional position in each other’s lives. but when people started spreading gossip and rumours about a whirlwind romance between a master and a maid it wakened up the undeniable reality of them being together and made them notice each other in a sexual way. 

even if everyone is opposing their romance, even if the malevolence of the classist society they live in made it more impossible. they acted quick on their feelings.

after they had sex you can see how influential their indecisiveness was. both of them had no idea what to do, what’s the next step, and you know, ross knew demelza is wrong for him and demelza knew how interacting they would be together but that didnt matter at the moment because neither of them was ready to lose what they had. 

tbh ross is clearly using this marriage to make a statement and revolt against his society’s quintessential norms. now I admit that they have yet to become in love but it’s a start you know. 

and oooh i’d rather take the heavy breathing on neck and whispering over make out sessions at anyyytimeeeeeee. these two have loads of chemistry.

I just realllly hope after the last ep they dont make them go downhill or kill demelza off for dramatic effect

i know what you mean with the daggerings, remember when rebekah was daggered in the 20s for 90 years, it felt really momentous and pivotal for them, but finding out he daggered her for 50 years, here and there, lessens the emotional impact for me

EXACTLY. Joseph and Claire certainly spoke that way in interviews. Especially Joseph, about how this was this huuuge betrayal. Also Klaus used to show so much more emotion whenever he dealt harshly with Rebekah.

Now it is so casual. I'm sick of it. Rebekah is being abused to prop Marcel/Klaus or whatever and it's only her first episode back. Kill Marcel. Kill him, witches be damned. This is so dumb. 

Also as if Klaus would give Elijah over to Marcel, remember how he flipped his shit when Stefan took the bodies? Klaus doesn't compromise. He wouldn't give Marcel shit.
