"Here we pair two early and very limited cassette releases of unexplainable instrumentals by FANTASTIC PALACE. It is utterly unique, and wonderful music! Sounding like good times in a Chrome universe, Wümme era Faust as a circus band, or Super Roots 6 era Boredomes trying to do covers of Byrds outtakes. Songs alternate between sunshine psychedelia and dark alien soundtracks. Even though songs are often short and experimental in nature, rather than sounding like sketches they create fully formed melodic vignettes that feel as if they've been beamed in from a neighboring dimension."
