The docents for MoMA’s fourth floor exhibition are esteemed art critics. They also happen to be under 10 years old. The independent group Audio Tour Hack enlisted the help of children to offer a unique and unfiltered commentary on the modern classics. One young art expert thought Roy Lichenstein’s Girl with Ball “looks like a polka-dotted chicken,” while Ed Ruscha’s OOF prompted another to say, “a person can make that sound when they fall on their tushy… OOF!” “MoMA Unadultered” is Audio Tour Hack’s second alternative art guide, following “Artobots,” the interpretation of John Chamberlain’s exhibition at the Guggenheim as a showcase on Transformers.
