The past few months have honestly been such a struggle to stay focused and moving forward, and I'm sure a lot of you can relate. I lost my productivity, my drive, and my energy to invest time into myself and my career... But recently I saw an opportunity to submit an audition for something, and I took it. In doing so, the passion I have for acting and voice-over was reignited. Although my journey of healing isn't over, I am excited about exercising my skills and creativity again.

Guess what happened with that audition??

I LANDED MY FIRST OFFICIAL AUDIOBOOK NARRATION JOB! 🙈✊🏻😁 One hour ago, I was in a Zoom meeting discussing the contract with the author and manager, them telling me what aspects of my audition stood out to them. This cheesy grin and victory-fist says it all.

Looking forward to the future ❤️

Lets talk about the Clockwork Angel audiobook.

So I started the Clockwork Angel audibook a while ago and it’s pretty terrible in places, like.... I often have no idea who is speaking, it’s hard to distinguish between the characters, and why does the narrator make it so that Gabriel doesn’t pronounce his Rs half the time? Sometimes he does and sometimes he doesn’t, like that scene where we meet him for the first time at The Enclave meeting and he’s yelling at Will, Jem and Tessa, it’s hard to take him seriously when he calls Will ‘Will Hewoandale’ and I just don’t understand why he does pronounce his Rs sometimes but not always?? And the narrator is pretty awful at expressing emotion and the way they voiced Enoch, just ????? Their accent for Will, Jem and Henry is awful, I’m going to keep reading because I obviously love the trilogy and want to see if the narration gets better, but jfc it’s so bad, does anyone else feel this way?
