Where to Next?
Paige and Edgar left for a while... After a few hours I heard a strange noise and the lights in the house flickered about... I think the two of them turned the power back on.
For a moment there, I feared that maybe it had been someone else and that perhaps Paige had gotten in a bit of a jam... But then she returned! And with Edgar... Unfortunate really...
She seemed pretty stressed out at first. And then she got really excited! She smiled at me and the next thing I knew I was being swung around in the air! She was hugging me and singing and laughing...
And then she told me what was going to happen. She said that we needed to get ready and that we were going to leave Flora!
Oh my... I know that this has been a dream for Paige for a very long time! She’s always wanted to travel. When she was young she would ask her grandfather if they could see the moons or even leave the planetary system for a while...
He always said no. He seemed pretty firm about it too. I’ve never seen him like that either; he was a very fun and loving man. A hard worker, but also a free spirit. I wonder why he never wanted to leave?
Whatever the case was, Paige certainly has never been anywhere except here. This is a pretty big deal for her, I know! I wonder who will be picking us up?
Oh, I really do hope I don’t sick on the airship... I’m good when it comes to flying with Paige but... Well... And airship has got to be a little rocky don’t you think?
Perhaps I’m just as nervous as Paige... I should just relax and go with it! It’s been a long time since I left Flora. So, I suppose this’ll be a grand adventure!
I’m so glad I get to go on it with Paige. I need to go pack my cat toys pronto!
