I fucking hate it when people that don't know my voice ask me what "part" I sing, referring to soprano, mezzo, contralto, etc. Because if I tell them soprano. They will never believe that I have the low notes I do. If I don't tell them soprano, they will never trust me to be able hit the high notes I do on more than a fluke basis. Fuck your restrictive vocal archetypes and preconceived notions of range >.>
