Another audition- another no. It's not a surprise anymore, but it most definitely still hurts.
Disneyland posted auditions.
I'm more than tempted to fly out there and audition.
I should have foreseen that today would go badly when I put the Double Stuffed E.L.Fudge in my shopping cart and put them back. Because I guarantee they will all be gone by the end of the night.
Edges audition today.
I had my audition for a production of Pasek and Paul's Edges today.
My songs I prepared went well, but then they had me sight read a song I had only listened to a few times. Usually I'm fine with sight reading, but they had me do the harmony line with no one on the melody. It did not go as well as I had hoped. Idk. Unless they really liked my songs I prepared, I don't expect anything from it. It was a good experience, though, and the production team seemed very nice. I'll definitely audition for them again in the future.
I will say this. Even if I don't get anything I am so very happy I found out about this audition because it led me to this wonderful show- specifically the song "Lying There." It is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard- I bawled my eyes out the first time I listened to it. I am definitely adding it to my book (If I can find the sheet music!)
Well, that was frustrating.

I get really annoyed when I look at the Central Florida Auditions Facebook page and see shows I want to audition for- then I google the city that the theatre is in and it's over on either of the coasts. I understand that from going north to south- yeah you're in the middle, but that's still a 2 hour drive from the center! gah.
