Omg people that hate on kaspbrough by saying that it’s impossible there was something between them because Bill cared more about saving Audra after the final fight make me so mad.
I HOPE that Bill cares more about the WIFE HE HAD FOR 11 YEARS THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT over his old best friend or even crush that he remembered for the first time 24 hours before. And in the end it’s not that he didn’t cared about Eddie, he clearly loved him, but of course he was gonna focus on saving his wife over bringing out Eddie’s already dead body. Sorry if he’s not the Mike Wheeler type of guy that isn’t even able to act like he cares about his girlfriend.
Just because he didn’t have a super emotional moment doesn’t mean that he didn’t care about Eddie. “But Richie was more focused on Eddie” OF COURSE HE WOULD, AUDRA MEANS NOTHING TO HIM. Eddie was one of his friends or even crush when children and Richie is also regarded to be one of the most emotional losers, so of course he acted out so much after Eddie’s death. And it’s not like Bev reaction was less intense, but those people only care about Reddie. And let’s stop acting like Bill was the one that decided to leave Eddie there when it was Ben’s fault.
It’s stupid to believe that Bill would have been able to put aside his wife over a friend or even crush he had when he was 11 that was already dead, because if he read the book you would know that in any other situation Bill is the first one that tries to help Eddie, but of course those people are so desperate to find Reddie scene that they ignore all the other things Bill has done for Eddie and act like Richie was the only one that cared about him.
After finishing It, I honestly just want to say this: any interaction between the Losers can be read as platonic.
Except, maybe, the B+B+B love triangle. Although even they earn the right to platonic moments at some point.
«I love you, Bill. and I hope everything will be okay with her.» (not a direct quote) — Beverly's words about Bill and Audra feel less like something between former lovers and more like something between old friends. Though honestly, I think they were always both friends and in love at the same time...(I want to talk about benverly in a separate post, even if just briefly)
And yes, this also applies to reddie (and I want to think about them in a separate post too, hihi), because pinching someone and kissing them on the cheek, longing for a person you love — all of that can absolutely be platonic.
Come on: both Eddie and Richie literally had sex with Bev and still stayed her friends, so in It literally anything is possible and I freaking love that. :^
Bill: When I'm doing my job, I can’t be your husband
Audra: So, when you're doing your job, I can have sex with someone else?

IT 2017/2019 losers club would ANNIHILATE IT 1990 losers club in a fight but IT 1986 would beat them all
every day i wake up and obsess over a specific IT character, sometimes the same one as the day before, sometimes different. did not expect today to be an audra phillips day but look where we are
