Check out this playlist on @8tracks: she murdered everyone, and I was her witness by nicole.marcial.
So rock right up to the side of my mountain. Climb until you reach my peak babe, the peak, the peak. And reach right into the bottom of my fountain. I wanna play in your deep baby, your deep baby, the deep. Then dip me under where you can feel my river flowing flow. Hold me 'til I scream for air to breathe and wash me over until my well runs dry. Send all your sins all over me babe.
I wasn't looking where I was going, I fell into your eyes. You came into my crazy world like a cool and cleansing wave. Before I, I knew what hit me baby you were flowing through my veins...I'm addicted to you, hooked on your love, like a powerful drug I can't get enough of
You're the first and last of your kind. Hold me like an animal utaffable. I wanna be every lever you've pulled. And all showers that shower you.
Love until we burn up, fire. Do whatever gets you seen. Kiss me with adventure til I forget my name. Chills run down my back, I'mma flirt with that. Get a little closer.
You leave the venom when you bite. Hunting another prey at night. You're thinking I'm too weak to fight. You don't see I'm the villain. Trigger happy point at me. Just pathetic weaponry, I ain't ever gonna change.
And she's watching him with those eyes. And she's lovin' him with that body, I just know it. And he's holding her in his arms late, late at night. You know I wish that I had Jessie's girl. I wish that I had Jessie's girl. Where can I find a woman like that?
Where do we belong, where did we go wrong? If there's nothing here, why are we still here? Leave it by its pain, leave it all alone. If I never turn, I will never grow. Keep the door ajar when I'm coming home. I will try, can't you see I'm trying?
Six inch heels, she walked in the club like nobody's business. Goddamn, she murdered everybody and I was her witness. She works for the money, she work for the money. From the start to the finish and she worth every dollar, she worth every dollar. And she worth every minute.
You lips maybe sweet such that I can't compete. But your heart is as black as night. I don't know why it came along at such a perfect time, but if I let you hang around I'm bound to lose my mind.
Audrey’s back hit the mirror with a sickening crunch, a groan leaving her mouth. Her eyes narrowed into slits as she licked the blood of her lips. Her husband stood a few feet away, sporting bruises visible through the collar of his stained shirt. He wore a look of smug satisfaction as he beckoned her with both hands and a “come to daddy”, and turned them into fists.
Audrey smacked a porcelain flower vase across his face. Hans stumbled back stunned. She kicked him in the gut to finish knocking him off balance and watched him fall on the ground.
Audrey smirked triumphantly, “who’s your daddy now?”
Audrey cast her eyes back down to her laptop after an extended amount of staring. There were only so many times she could use the excuse of needing more coffee, especially when she didn’t even like it. She tried not to panic as the blonde barista headed her way, stepping from behind the counter after foot traffic had finished.
“Do you want another of your usual, luv?” Irene asked with a sweet smile that brought out her own.
“Sure, thanks,” Audrey held the mug out and felt a flutter in her stomach once their fingers brushed. It was only wishful thinking that made her think Irene lingered.
The sandstorm outside howled against the windows and doors of their temporary shelter, providing Audrey a familiar background noise as she tried to salvage a portable gas burner. Amalie, however, had different priorities.
From the other side of what had once been a pretty spacious bar, as depicted by an old, barely legible sign on the wall, music started playing. Audrey lifted her gaze and found Amalie spinning. She chuckled, which caught Amalie’s attention.
The shorter woman walked to Audrey, taking the spare parts out of her hands and pulled her to her feet, “dance with me.” There was no argument to be had. They swayed together until Audrey closed her eyes and briefly forgot it wasn’t the end of the world.
The leather riding crop traced the curve of Daniella’s chest with a soft touch. The woman arched into the touch, but was not afforded slack by the restraints around her wrists that tied her to the ceiling. Audrey tutted, sliding the black leather tip of the riding crop down Daniella’s flat stomach.
“You know better than that, Dani,” Audrey admonished, accentuating the reprimand with a smack right below her navel. This time, Daniella didn’t thrust forward, only bit her lip.
“Good girl,” Audrey purred, walking around without lifting the crop from Dani’s skin so that it dragged all the way to her backside, “what do we say?”
“Thank you, madam,” Dani sighed, and Audrey raised the crop and brought it back down against her cheeks.
Swords clanged together as they met in mid-air. Horses whinnying and the clamor of metal armor crashing with steel that were once so raucous gave away as a blade meant for her found purchase in her knight commander.
“NO!” She screamed, launching off the ground slick with mud and blood. Her sword drove through her enemy’s exposed throat as he choked on his blood. Audrey dropped to the ground again and pulled the helmet off Antonio.
“Come on,” she gritted her teeth and applied pressure to his wound, “you’re not allowed to die yet, Antonio, by order of your king!”
Tony chuckled and shivered in her arms, “never followed orders before. Why start now?”
“Does freedom await us,” Darrell wondered aloud as he inspected the dull blade he had been gifted, “or death?”
Audrey’s eyes narrowed as the crowd around the coliseum cheered for blood. Audrey stared at their shackles, connected by ankles, forced to fight alongside each other and expected to put up enough of a fight to entertain before succumbing to the appetites of a man-eating lion.
“Death will be a freedom from you,” Audrey countered, lifting her gaze to meet Darrell’s. He smirked as the iron gate lifted and shined the orange sun against their skin. Audrey exhaled.
“See you on the other side.”
[A Walk To Remember/Hospital AU]
Audrey stirred awake slowly, like wading through a pool of sludge. Once her eyes adjusted, the first thing she saw was the connected IV and the white walls. The second thing she saw was a pile of unkempt brown hair laid against the white sheets by her legs.
Her smile was weak but immediate, the same as her effort to lift her hand and stroke his face. The brief moment caused Ansel to stir out of sleep more suddenly than she had. She saw the worry in his eyes turn to relief at seeing her awake.
“Hello, dahling,” he greeted, cupping her hand gingerly, “you gave me quite the scare.”
Audrey smiled again, “I told you not to fall in love with me.”
Her eyes scanned the crowd and found him immediately. He was here again, arms spread out over the red leather chairs as he watched with unabashed interest. It was a sensation she was familiar with, but where other men undressed with their eyes, D’Grey claimed.
“Why don’t you do right, like some other men do?”
Audrey cradled the microphone as she sang, and held her gaze throughout the song until the spotlight, applause, and change of act forced her off the stage. Not a few seconds after she was behind the curtain, Olivier D’Grey had her pinned against the wall. She tasted smoke and whiskey and reveled in his heat.
“Oh wait, suesser,” Stefanie reached to stop Audrey from stepping out of the limousine. The blonde scooted forward and tucked the tag of Audrey’s dress back down. Her hot breath struck Audrey’s nape and her hand traveled to the small of Audrey’s back.
“I hope you’re not wearing panties,” Stefanie murmured and Audrey inhaled sharply through her nose. It was a mistake. All she did was overload her senses with Stefanie’s coconut and cinnamon scent.
“They would leave unflattering lines with that dress,” Stefanie finished explaining herself with a wink, “try not to flash the paparazzi though.” With that, Stefanie finally opened the door and stepped onto the red carpet; half of the duo of the new supernatural drama.
Audrey recollected herself and greeted the crowds with a grin that fooled everyone but her costar.
