I love how it's a universal experience for first-time RGU viewers to go from hating Nanami to absolutely loving her

The discourse surrounding Go For It Nakamura is so strange to me. It's such a wholesome and sweet story and yet people still found a reason to get mad.
Like why were people mad about Nakamura assuming that Hirose has an unrequited crush on his teacher? It's not that uncommon for kids to get crushes on teachers and people older than them. It's only an issue if the older person likes them back.
Another thing I saw someone complain about is that Nakamura and Hirose don't end up together. The story is about a shy gay kid navigating a crush on a classmate, but that doesn't mean that they end up together. It's a comedy first and foremost.
Idk it feels like people care more about shipping more than the actual story. Would it be nice for them to end up together? For sure. But it doesn't stop being a gay story just because the leads don't end up together.
The Toby Fox discourse is so stupid.
It's valid to be upset about the concert not coming to specific countries, the price of merchandise worldwide, and the lack of translations into several languages. However, Toby did state that he had no control over the concert locations, and he wants the merch to be available to more people. He's also very clear that he wants to oversee all translations, and he's stated he would like to translate the games into more languages. It's understandable that he wants to be careful with the translations, as a bad translation could ruin things.
The people calling him a racist and Nazi over this are so annoying and hateful.
I'm really excited for the Dragon Quest stream next week since we might finally learn about DQXII, but I'm also terrified because it's Square Enix
