okiiiiiiiii. ok. i wanna write.! but i also wanna read. plus ive got some school stuff to do BUT we can do that over the weekend my brain can only handle so much school in a day and like my first ☝ instinct is to like. decompress chill out plus it was sooo hot out and not a bad day aside from that but school IS tiring. so. anyways writing requires brainpower and reading ALSO requires brainpower but i dont wanna doomscroll so huhhh. maybe i'll watch a show (?) for a while or. oh no wait i know. im gonna plan one of the new wips

Oooh I love this ask hehe. I always make all my guy ocs long-haired, especially in the lord of gentle swords, because long hair for men was the norm in precolonial southeast asia.

Fwiw rn, I'm not so sure about actually getting it published, but I've seen people have success at self publishing so that's what I'm gonna try. Firstly because I don't want the story to change too much from my original vision. I have been writing this for four years and the plot has not changed; I know how it starts and I know how it ends. And secondly. I don't really know how marketable it is? I'm currently at 60k words and Darenya is still 9 in his hometown. Like most of the story takes place when he is in his 20s and starts traveling around the world hahaha oh no. Also there's so much explaining to do because it relies 100% on southeast asian culture.

And there's the issue with r18 content. I honestly have like 12% hope that this story will even pop off or be published, all I know is that I want it to be.. known. And that I can't stop working on it.

What I am planning to make into a comic is like, some of the other inhabitants of their world, Hidlawonen, and short stories about them, so that when tlgs finally drops, people will understand the world a bit better.

It's why I wanna.. Quit My Job and focus on making zines and webcomics and commissions, everyone plz pray for me.
