An envelope came in the mail for Kilroy with several photos and a letter inside. It was from Crow.
Dear Kilroy,
Cory and I have successfully moved to Central City. We live a few houses down from his parents, and we all got together just for the sake of spending time together. I'm still getting used to the idea that families do that. Cory's younger sister Alyson was sort of lovingly interrogating me, and we came to the realization that I don't have a birthday, so they decided that my birthday should be the day I moved here because that's when I started my new life. They are simply wonderful. I've been happier since I came here, and Elliot hasn't found me. Thank you for encouraging me to leave and find my own life.
Sincerely and gratefully,
Crow
*He read the letter with a sigh, as he perched his head upon his arm on the desk.*
*Should he write back? He guessed he should. Ugh, he felt so tired today… but it was the right thing to do. So, he got out the materials and began to write.*
“That is wonderful to hear, Crow. Happy Birthday. I’m glad your new life has not been discovered. Paul and I are working to figure out Elliot’s whereabouts and his role in our family. Paul and Auggie are dealing with the news of Harry’s… decay… well. I think our family will survive. In anyways, I wish you and your loved ones all the best.
