Another view of Ferrari 250GTO 3987 in John Mecom racing livery at Road America with Roger Penske who co-drove with Augie Pabst--photographer still unknown. This photograph by Allen R. Kuhn shows GTO 3987 still in Mecom racing colors, though belonging at the time to Ferrari dealer Otto Zipper, at Riverside International Raceway where it finished 5th overall driven by Richie Ginther who is seen to the right talking with crew members. Mecom had offered to sell the GTO to his driver Augie Pabst who declined but arranged the sale to Zipper.
