Long Lived Julian Headcanons
Due to his enhancements, I would like to think that he would live a long time. Like Cardassians are a reptilian race so I would believe that they live to 150 or 200 years or up to 250 years if they are healthy. So for Julian with his enhancements, I would like to think up to 500 years old. He would not show signs of aging until he's around 395 He ages slowly, and by the time I think he would look middle aged
If he lived a healthy lifestyle he would live over 550.
So what would he do if he lived this long? Would he stay in Starfleet and continue doing missions and whatnot? Would Starfleet allow him to stay? Would he join a resistance, a mercenary trade? Would he still be a doctor? Would he become jaded enough but still have compassion to heal, but kill those who start wars and be badass enough to fight those who come against him and what he stands for? Would he become a hero and a figure for those that would follow him?
Would he live with Garak on Cardassia for a while and get married? Would Julian just want complete peace and live in an uncharted part of the galaxy? Would Garak be willing to fight with him if there ever comes a time?
Would this man, after Garak has died, live a complete life of solitude and live within a forest, becoming one with nature? Becoming a shaman? A guru?
Would he settle down and have biological kids if he finds another love, who loves him for who he is? If he did have kids, he would never let Starfleet know, or the Federation.
If he did have biological children due to being intersex, and never remarried, he would go live off on a planet in the farthest reaches from any Romulan, Starfleet, and Klingon space. He would live in peace with his children. I would also like to think that once his children are teens, that they would love to adventure and since, just like their father, they are also enhanced. I would like to think that they would have wild stories. Would one of his kids become a superhero, and tales will be told?
When it comes to it, when it comes down to a discussion of how long Bashir's lifespan is when it gets to the point that he has, but hasn't aged a day. Hasn't grown old, he begins to wonder if his enhancements made him immortal, and Julian just wonders, to the point where Garak starts to notice, and they have this conversation, and it makes Garak hate his parents more, and he hates to see his love in anguish over something he can't control.
