'Air on a G String'. Very beautiful, very strong. Deceptively hard for me to play but it's been in my head for years. Little major key for my tastes though. If only...
Oh right, I've got a whole-ass A string here. Which can be used as a drone to kinda sorta turn the whole thing into A- instead of G major (Kind of. I know the key signature but it's in G).
This is not just fuckery; playing with a drone is a well-known practice technique. And, if you've got a sustain pedal (which I do) there's a handy floating pitch reference.
But what makes it super fun is landing hard on the b♭ in the 3rd measure against the A string for a sweet, sweet flat 9.
