August 11th 2015 - Day 137
Today I woke up incredibly late and unfortunately did not manage to go out and apply for jobs. However, I did apply online and will wake up early tomorrow to do some in-person applications. I also went driving on roads again today which went mostly smoothly which is nice as my drivers ed starts next week. I also planned out a sleepover and a few other things so I’m in a very happy mood currently.

If one were to take the time to develop both Bill and Mabel’s friendship alongside Dipper and Bill’s relationship, and if we can see that Mabel honestly believes her brother would be happy, she’d be all over that mess. If not, yes, the cock-blocking would be on overdrive.
This can be potentially avoided in AUs where Bill never tormented either of them or they never met. But still, fanfic writers need to keep in mind that Mabel is more than just a vessel for hurrying along their smut.
