The success of an album for big artists is highly judged by how much money they make off of it. Yeah sure that’s important but money doesn’t always mean success. Lover gave me chills. I cried the first time I listened to Soon You’ll Get Better even though I haven’t been in that position. I FELT it in the music. And I cried. Listening to Death By A Thousand Cuts killed me and revived me again. Daylight? Made me realize I am okay now. I’m okay. Listening to the whole album the first time through gave me the words I needed to choose to heal from my heartbreak and years of abuse. I made that choice and it was HARD getting there and every time I listen to the album I make that choice again. That says so much. That’s a successful album. Will it make more money than Reputation? Or 1989? Who cares.. it speaks to my heart, and I know I’m not the only one. @taylorswift
