The chibi series. It spontaneously came out of wanting to try out my partner’s screen tablet, and ended up encompassing my characters at the time. I had a lot of fun designing some freestyle outfits for them not strictly based on their in-game gear.
Back in like... 2014 or 2015, Square held an art contest for Valentione’s Day on the official forums. Rather than submitting something featuring a popular NPC, I got it in my head to feature a nameless Redbelly bandit and Buscarron in this cute little piece. Despite my choices, or perhaps specifically because of them, I actually won a prize and got a bluebird earring.
