Where did Aunt Ada live?

In the series, it is mentioned that Ada has lived with Agnes since the death of Agnes’ husband, 10 years before the plot of gilded age start. But where did she live before that? Has it been mentioned? Because Marian didn’t know her, so Ada can’t have lived with Marian’s family even though it should have been Henry’s job to take care of her as her brother.
