Definitely to Hilda. To Sabrina? She’s harsh with her at times, sure, but a lot of the time it’s warranted. And she makes her disappointment known when Sabrina does something that’s against the Church of Night, but I don’t think she wants her to be a brainwashed follower of the Church; she still allows her plenty of independence.

susie (are you shy?): honestly, i can be reserved when the situation calls for it, or when i’m unsure of the dynamics at play, but as i’ve gotten older i’ve just started to give fewer and fewer fucks lmao. those i work with now consider me to be one of the most outgoing people in the workplace.

i think it also highlights their own preference when it comes to men in a way. hilda wants love and something sweet hence why she loves cee while zelda seems to prefer power and a more lusty and steamy affair (at least from what we saw so far bc i think deep down she does want someone to connect with a bit more than just physically)

honestly such a good point to make. as it examines the aunts, i think you;ve perfectly summed it up! & not only that but harvey has a lot of traits that hilda reflects; good-heartedness, gentle, too stubborn about their comfort zones, and ultimately someone who looks to support. zelda and nick are both a little more mercurial, who understands the pull toward power and prestige, and whose allegiances are a little more self-sustained, tho its not a question of whether either loves sabrina.

oooooo interesting thought! I feel like I disagree generally but agree on a more granular level?

Like, I could see Sabrina wanting to do something rash to #SaveNick and Lilith opposing that particular action because she doesn’t think it will work- so she’s like perceived as the antagonist but isn’t actually actively trying to harm/kill Sabrina. Anyway, generally disagree since they ended it on amiable terms but it’s definitely a theory I’m thinking about now!
