God, he was stupid for thinking this was going to work out.
He simply had too much faith, too much hope for everything to go right. They had spent so much time rehearsing for this show, so much time trying to get it out to people only for it to crumble.
Daisuke froze up like a baby deer in headlights the moment he was supposed to start singing. Wouldn't've been a problem if he didn't forget how to dance, too. He was simply taken off the stage after the first song, but after the show, he flat out refused to do anything with F!RED UP! again. He felt like an entirely different person.
Suki was pissed off, and it showed on and off stage. Reo had hardly been listening, just trying to calm them both down, but there was something about not holding Daisuke accountable and just overall not being serious enough to work as a unit.. she resigned, too.
And Ayaka.. oh, Ayaka. Her and Reo exchanged eye contact before she followed Suki out the door, not saying a word. Reo was officially solo again. And worst of all? Kira saw what happened on stage, and she probably heard the exchange backstage, too. He wouldn't be surprised if Kira left him too.
Reo found himself scrambling through his bag before he was even aware of it, remembering the small container of lemon extract he brought. Alcohol without the label, essentially. This could suppress the hurt.
He gasped for air, trying to open the bottle, but his hands were too shaky for it. His entire body was too tingly and shaky to focus on this stupid little-
Fucking hell..!

Yes, Kira did hear the exchange. Well, parts of it. It was damn near impossible to hear pieces of it over the crowds rambunctious behavior. But, he knew something was most certainly up.
As they managed to finally squeeze their way backstage (after sneaking past a few members of security), they stopped in front of the green room. The same one that Reo had brought them to after their fight and confession not so long ago. They briefly flinched at his exclamation before knocking, smoothing out their dress out of habit.
Reo. . .? Prince. . .?
. . . No reply. That wasn't good. He knocks again, his foot tapping slightly in worry.
Prince, if I don't hear anything from you, I'm coming in. I get what happened, but I wanna make sure you're okay.
. . . Still nothing. Alright, guess she was going in. Without another warning, Kira twists the door handle, letting herself in and shutting it behind her just as quickly. She wasn't going to let her boyfriend deal with this alone. Not this time.
