Cass and Rothe!!! (i almost wrote ass instead of cass LMAO)

AKJDFH I would’ve given you the chance to resend the ask if you did I got you

1. Rothe isn’t really great at composing anything more than fancy lettering on cakes. But he knows the moogles will be able to find Cassia while she’s adventuring and he SURE AS HELL isn’t going to pass that up. He writes about simple things: silly gossip around Limsa, new interesting shops, anything that made him think of her. He tries to avoid asking where she is or what she’s doing in case of interceptions.

2. He fell head over heels basically immediately. He was poking all the other staff to see if anyone knew anything. So when H'lahono came in to say the mystery girl bolted everyone was just, “Rothe, shut up already and go get her.”

3. Rothe confessed first; he said it while falling asleep, clocked out IMMEDIATELY AFTER, and had absolutely no memory of it when he woke up. I am so sorry.

4. He keeps a seashell they found together on him at all times.

5. Cassia found him sing-narrating his cooking one time and he just about died on the spot. Now he’ll sing everything.

6. Rothe has considered many, many times to chuck the mandragora out his apartment window while Cassia is over. He couldn’t live with that on his conscious, but gods does he wish sometimes.

7. Rothe blurts out whatever he’s thinking which results in a lot of delayed embarrassment on his part. Sometimes he flat-out doesn’t notice he said something stupid or even romantic so Cassia just has to hold her head in her hands like Rothe why are you like this

8. He!! really!! likes!! holding!! her hand!! He is 100% the “can you hold this?” “yeah sure” and just sticks his hand in hers. He forgets to let go sometimes so she’ll leave to go do something and just end up tugging on his arm until it clicks

9. So many of these make him sound air-headed and he really can be at times but he truly tries his best. He really wants to create a space, at least in Limsa, where Cassia can come back and relax from the demands the she faces as WoL. Even if that means running to the Drowning Wench in the middle of a downpour to get La Noscean toast. (As far as he’s concerned, it fixes most things–or at least makes them not as bad. The world can’t completely fall apart if you have a plate of the Wench’s toast in front of you.)

10. Cassia stops by the ledge on the west side of the Bismarck and chills there until someone alerts Rothe that his dine-and-dashing girlfriend’s outside and he should probably poke his head out and say hello. The staff’ll never let her live it down.

Alliance & shift!!

ALLIANCE

The events of Heavensward and the people she met pre-Ishgard and during her stay there have left a mark on Lia, and so she is fond of Aymeric over any other Alliance leaders. It is mostly platonic, but she is not entirely immune to the charming and handsome Lord Commander. Her NPC bestie is hands down Cid, though–he has been there for her through thick and thin and she appreciates him deeply. 

She’s also very protective of Alphinaud and Alisaie. She is on good terms with the rest of the Scions, but prefers Y’Shtola’s company whenever the woman is available. 

(Arbert has also made a great impact on her, and in my WoL!verse that I write, he actually stayed behind instead of returning to The First and they are in the middle of a complicated relationship. I am really looking forward to seeing if Shadowbringers will bring back the Warriors of Darkness in any way and force me to alter this!)

SHIFT

Being accused of the sultana’s murder greatly impacted Lia. She has spent her entire time traveling and being an adventurer, and thus being barred from Eorzea and the city-states for a murder she did not commit shook her up. She detests being cooped up in one place for long, and the time she was forced to spend hiding in Camp Dragonhead, coupled with the recent events, led to more than a few well-hidden panic attacks (over issues she has thus far refused to face, mostly to do with her mother and the lifestyle she made them lead). Being bound to Ishgard and the surrounding areas afterwards helped her reflect on her past and start coming to terms with the feelings she has for her now-deceased mother for the childhood she was made to have. 

The arrival of the Warriors of Darkness threw her entire perspective on the world, her role and Hydaelyn off, and she has since been much more cautious of the Mother Crystal and the possible impact of her actions in Her name. 

As for subtle changes, after everything she has been through, she is overall more weary and cautious of the world and everyone in it. She finds less and less joy in life, but it also grateful for it as she has managed to see the world in ways she never thought she’d be able to.

(I am still developing Lia, so the answers may change entirely, or slightly, or not at all in the future! Thank you for taking the time to ask and help me develop her further.)

It is!!! Bri had to wipe her PS4′s capture gallery so I cant properly compare with a non-MNK’s script... But I assume this would be it since he recognizes the WoL. (And even if it’s somehow not, I don’t care I’m running with it.)
