Do you know if it might be an autistic thing that when I'm learning a new language female voices seem easier to understand than other voices?
I’ve heard that very high and very low pitched voices are harder to understand for many people, and that voices in between are clearer and easier to understand (so children’s voices and deep adult voices are more difficult). However, this difference might be more obvious for someone who is on the spectrum and who might have related processing difficulties. People with sensory issues might also have preferences not related to clarity but to the tone/pitch being more comfortable to listen to.Followers?- Ben
