It was obvious by the look on his face that he wasn't as excited about these events as others might be - and honestly, if it was possible for him to lock himself up in his room, Shintaro would've already done that. Unfortunately, it was also his little sister's birthday. An impossible thing to achieve. "Ahh, annoying. Have fun eating too much chocolate."

Love, candy, joy, cherishing time with friends, with loved ones, gifts, ribbons, bows, special dinners out to commemorate- er -something, novelty cards, novelty gift wrap, boxes of outdated chocolate restored and resold, bitter wine 'flavoured' sweets, love, love, love, love, love, love, a love that can only be stopped by--!

Hogwarts. He spent half of his schooling here. It's had it's moments of quietness, as well as loud and boisterous moments. Personally, Shintaro didn't mind when it got rather quiet. Gave the guy some time to himself, which he needed every now and then. It... got tiring around people after a while, honestly. Not that the Gryffindor didn't enjoy company from time to time. Just... not extremely loud company. He's had enough of that. Travelling through the corridors, it didn't take him too long before he reached the great hall. Ah, yes... Gatherings generally took place here. Made him remember his own sorting ceremony, which was what, a few years back?

Well, beggars can't be choosers. Not that he didn't like Gryffindor, mind you-- it was just... all kind of surreal, in it's own way. It felt a little... weird, even after spending a while in this place. But that was probably a cause of the secrets that still surrounded the school. A bit... unnerving, honestly... And the amount of students at the moment was no joke -- but he'd suspected that more would be arriving any day, and that'd mean... Augh. New people who might pester him. The sound of echoed footsteps soon reached Shintaro's ears, and he turned around, a bit surprised - to be honest, he'd thought most of the students were either in their dorm rooms or the library, not here... Well, the same could be said for himself. Was it someone new or someone else, though?

"Well, nice... seeing you here. I guess. Feast's uh... off. Do you need anything? Headmaster's not here..."
