Auraugust Day 13: Heavensward

             I remember that day on the Steps of Faith well. The searing heat of the dragons fire, the dust in my lungs from the decimated battlements, the surge of power afforded to me from Hraesvelgr’s eye. I knew it would affect me for the rest of my life, but at the time I didn’t care, I used the eye’s power to summon forth Shiva within myself. Was it the Primal birthed of Ysayle’s hopes? Was it the spirit of Hraesvelgr’s love affording me her strength along with her beloved? Was it mine own foolish delusions manifesting as a wish to see her face once more? It doesn’t matter anymore...what’s done is done....I haven’t called upon her since that day, I don’t even know if I can at all anymore. I dare not try...

~ Auraugust - 5. Colorful ~      

Under the gentle waves, surrounded by colorful corals and fish, a Xaela finds herself at home. An Ejinn, a daughter of the sea, she is forever drawn to the depths. It is a place of comfort, of joy and of unbridled freedom. She is one with the waves, swimming beside sharks, diving for clams, and simply thriving in the beautiful blue abyss.
