you lead a militia against the tyrant of the snows. you get killed by a rogue fighter after you win the war. you die and get brought back to live in the damn snows except now it's ruled by that dead tyrant's son. you get a job in the empire and the guy you work directly under is the best friend of the son of this tyrant of the snows, who is, again, the son of the tyrant you literally fought a war against. you grow attached to your boss and he gets killed by the emperor's lackeys, so you fight in another war against yet another snow tyrant, this time led by his son. you win again and decide to start anew across the seas. you attempt to become the leader of a smaller nation's military but get beat out of the position by a kid who looks awfully familiar and— yeah okay so that is the great grandson of the first snow tyrant, the grandson of the second snow tyrant, and the son of the revolutionary crown prince you just served under. and they just stole your win and title on a completely different continent. your name is kanukei and you are so fucking mad
i love talking about my aculon tree bc it for the most part looks like what you'd expect a family tree with one million divorces to look like but then i get to red and i become this
to me burnder (enderburn ?? have the people decided on a name yet) is a slowburn spanning from childhood to post-revolution where they both are slowly drawn to each other but don't do anything about it because their duties and responsibilities to the crown and later the revolution are too important to risk distraction but the entire time they are just yearning like crazy and going "sigh..... if only our circumstances were different........." and enddrew is. the complete opposite of that. really funny duo of ships to consider happening at the same time
