i would actually kill for damian to become a doctor. specifically i would want him to either be in pediatrics.. or to be an obgyn. i think there would be something so poetic about the boy that was raised to take lives, to also grow into the man who would bring life into the world. idk.

not gonna reblog the post that triggered this because it is also just a general Thing that angers me but. anti-psych comrades. when you talk about the amount of power psychiatrists have + why that's a bad thing. be careful not to turn around and say that no other kind of doctor is that powerful. as someone who is both Mad and chronically ill, I can promise you that there is overlap in the issues faced by both communities. the psychiatric system and the broader medical system also often work in tandem to disempower and harm disabled people of all stripes. I encourage you to listen to the perspectives of physically disabled people before making sweeping statements about what is or isn't unique to psychiatry
