Decided to start rebuilding Sulani.  Love the Build & Buy style so much.  First up is Lagoon Look, it’s still a one bedroom home with a bathroom.

Part of my Sulani Rebuild is a makeover of the Sand Bar. I didn’t think there was much to the EA lot so completely rebuilt it.  I have found I tend to build boxes without much personality so had a play with different shapes, wanted something that looked open letting the beautiful scenery in. 

Nothing I did seemed to match hexagonal or pentagonal roofs.  Is there a trick to lining the walls up to fit the roof?

It has a sunbathing area, bonfire, Island Living music and I couldn’t resist the ‘Moana’ themed toilets.

I accidentally decorated a house for Aurna’s Mrs. Crumplebottom.. I’m moving around a bunch of houses and sims in my main save and I said to myself ‘I will just make a few teeny tiny adjustments to this house’ but then I got lost in decorating :) I tried to use a little CC as possible though, so it’s not quite as cluttered as I’m used to!

When I entered live mode to test the house, one of SimDoughnut’s Grumpy Old Men stopped by - but Mrs. Crumplebottom soon put an end to his advances with her trusty old handbag!

Lol I’ve never had a fire in TS4 O.o had them all the time in the previous games. Are they all cooking the same recipe when it happens? The Curse of the Grilled Cheese? :)

I haven’t detected any pattern regarding the recipe yet (although usually my stove fires seem to have been caused by low cooking skill). The stove isn’t even the worst culprit. I’ve had a lot of variety in fire sources.

I mean ... yeah, Brianna had a good old stove fire shortly after finding her own place, but it all began when Alexander and Brianna were still kids and continuously set their chemistry set on fire. Melody had very bad luck in her career as a scientist and created a fire while trying to experiment on a new serum. And the campfire has also been a huge culprit in fires. More on that in future updates ...

Are there any other objects that can cause fire in this game? If so I’m sure I’ll find them. My game seems to be on a mission to ‘warn’ me of all the fire hazards. Dee finds this hilarious. This is one thing where I do NOT agree with her.

With my game these days it’s more like ‘Ooops, I did it again!’. Only I’m not believing my game anymore when it claims that those fires are all by accident and not intentional. I’ve had more fires in TS4 in these past months than in all previous games taken together.

Fun fact: I saw that ‘more chance for fire‘ mod on MtS a while ago. Couldn’t stop laughing, because that’s really the last thing my game needs. A higher chance for fire.
