18. Talk about a moment which made you question an entire ship.Hmmmmm, I tend to drop ships when the creator starts taking them down a really stereotypical and heterosexual path. Like a lot of things fall into this for me and I’ll start of liking something and then they all start becoming the same rehearsed story and I groan really loudly and I don’t caaaaaaaaaaare It’s the worst thing, boring and predictable. That’s just me though, obviously it’s popular or they wouldn’t do it hahaha

20. Talk about a ship you feel alone in shipping.I think I’m pretty lucky in that I have friends that are into rarepairs too, so I’m not that alone. The most alone I am is on the whole group dynamic shipping thing I like to do since I don’t really favour pairing characters off as much as groups hahaha That’s just me doing my thing

39. Is there a fictional relationship you’d really want for yourself?

Oh goodness no. I’m mostly into interesting relationships in fiction which doesn’t always been good relationships. Sometimes they can be cute and fluffy but I like them when there is something else going on there. An oblivious character, a love triangle, miscommunication, all that type of thing. Messy relationships, I want something interesting to read about.

Now in real life I would hate all that stuff. I don’t have time to be dealing with that nonsense. I like stability and people I can count on, I’d want good communication and just good, functional relationships. There are people I know who have like a lot of relationship drama going on and I have no idea how they do it. I would get tired and bail on it pretty quickly. I have a job and hobbies, I don’t have time for human drama gosh

The best I could really say is... there are some like mum/dad couples that could be pretty ideal I guess. It’s the stability thing I think.

16. Talk about a ship you initially disliked.

Initally disliked hmmmmmm... I guess RitShou would be the main one, and it wasn’t so much dislike as I didn’t like a lot of the interpretations personally? I’m pretty picky with how Shou especially is portrayed. However I’ve been somewhat won over and have my own little idea for them, they can be very cute.

17. Talk about a pairing you’ve stopped shipping romantically.

I mean if we dismiss all the series I just lost interest in in general... hmmm I don’t tend to do it a lot, I tend to add to my ships if anything. I do lose interest a lot of the time if they actually get together in canon. Like watching Downton Abbey I was all over Mary and Matthew until they got together and then I didn’t care as much (and then they ruined everything anyway). Once the chase is done, I’m done.

21. Is there a ship you just don’t get, but have nothing against?

SeriRei. Like I get it, technically speaking, I do, I just feel nothing for it. I’m very set on not shipping Reigen with anyone, he is a disaster and I love him like that. I much prefer Seri with someone else. However I get why people like it and I support them liking it!

31. Talk about one of your favorite headcanons for a ship you love.I love love love EmiMob. I really like the idea of Emi trying to woo Mob in the most shojo way possible and it just never getting anywhere. She would have more luck if she was just herself but she hasn’t figured that out yet.

26. Have you noticed a pattern in your shipping? Is there a romantic dynamic you’re more drawn to?

Hmmm, a pattern... I wonder. Does them being disasters count? Cause that sure seems to be a common thing. Mostly in a cute or funny flavour, like oblivious matched with head over heels. I do a lot of contrary shipping too, like if there is something that’s unlikely to happen in canon then, full of spite, I will ship it. Made reading a lot of love polygon manga frustrating cause I will *always* prefer the one least likely to happen. I’m generally pretty easy going I think, I’ll ship most characters provided they are interesting. I don’t really like straight-forward-happily-ever-after-all-I-need-is-you pairings. I find it boring, once they get together I can often lose interest. I’ll quite happily read stories where characters never get together and it’s just unresolved tension forever hahahaha

31. Talk about one of your favorite headcanons for a ship you love.

For you, RiTeru. I think that whenever they are in the same vicinity for too long they’ll turn everything into a barely concealed hostile competition. Who can eat more, who can get up the stairs first, who can pay first, who can open the door for Shigeo first, all of course covered with politeness and backhanded comments. Both of them are too full of pride and spite to let it go, it just escalates. Shigeo doesn’t notice.

TERU/RITSU, TELL ME EVERYTHING

OH MY GOD!!! Talk about something I wasn’t expecting to ship but god their dynamic is so amazingly good I love them so much. It’s like the opposite of TeruMob where instead of Shigeo just being 100% completely oblivious, Ritsu is 100% hyper aware of every stunt Teruki is trying to pull, whether he is actually trying to pull it or not. He tries so so hard to keep up but let’s face it, Teruki is a master at this game. Can he keep up at all? And for Teruki, I must admit I think he would enjoy actually making progress for once, the challenge of Ritsu’s naturally prickly and icy demeanour, which of course isn’t too much of a challenge because Teruki is Teruki, to be in his natural element and get back up on his self appointed pedestal of relationship mastery (after being knocked off it so many times by Shigeo).

Emi/mob! Almost an invisible ship!

I know I don’t draw them a lot but I LOVE THEM, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH! It’s actually one of my top tier ships! Not only is that mini arc one of my most beloved in the entire series, but also I really really like their dynamic. Emi I feel like is still finding out where and who she wants to be, she’s not sure about the “friends” she has but she’s too scared to be alone. Her brief interactions with Mob allowed her to be more herself than any of the times she’s been with her friends and I think she knows that and she’s surprised by it. She’s obviously very passionate about writing even if she doesn’t want to make herself vulnerable by admitting that, and Mob cared, genuinely and kindly, about what was important to her. I think he would allow her to grow into herself.

I really like the idea of her trying to win Mob over in the most shojo way possible because she’s read about that, and it never quite working out because it’s not really her. She’d have to learn that she can be liked as she is and also that it didn’t matter what other people thought about who she liked, cause you know her friends would laugh. I think she would be pretty protective of Mob, looking out for him in the same way he looked out for her. I guess I see the story so much more about her than Mob, I love her a lot, she’s my fav! It’s a very fluffy and soft ship.

TeruMob?

Of course! Could it be anything but?! I remember originally getting into the series and thinking it would be really cool if they became friends because honestly they both need friends but boy it did not take long for me to ship them :’D I honestly like quite a few variations of the pairing but my favourite is probably pining Teruki and oblivious Mob and for it to take years for them to get together. Give me that slow burn pining that is what I am about! I also find it straight out hilarious in so many ways. Mob completely missing Teruki’s less than subtle hints, Teruki doing anything but actually directly confessing. The clash of Mob’s beautiful lack of social awareness and Teruki’s sparkling and shining ego, what an absolute blessing.

You all know how completely I adored Cookie’s interpretation as well, you know that makes me melt, it is the most adorable thing ever. I also remember starting to read a fic that was Mob pining for Teruki which I really, really enjoyed too! What can I say, I’m a sucker for pining in general.

8. Have you ever shipped yourself with a character?

No, though when I was younger I had OCs involved that were enough of self-inserts that it probably counts anyway hahaha. Generally I compartmentalise fiction as separate from myself.

23. Which of your ships deserve better writing?

ALL OF THEM BECAUSE THEY NEVER GET TOGETHER. I joke, generally I don’t really care what happens in canon, since if it’s good I’ll enjoy it and if it’s not, well, that’s what fanart and fanfiction is for. If the creator won’t love them then I will!
